Mobo stand offs

15Evan15

I have the corsair spec 01. I finished my pc, but I only screwed in 3 screws to the mobo to the case. That was all I could because the other holes, didn't have threads in the case for a screw. The case did come with one standoff though. Should I take apart everything and put in that standoff to put in another screw?

ONE......... don't screw the board to the motherboard plate in the back of the case. that's what standoffs are for.  don't know why there are no threads to screw standoffs in on the motherboard plate. it's a modern case, they should be there. serious grounding issues...........

you need to buy standoffs with proper screws and screw them in first if the case didn't come with any..??? if there are no threads to screw standoffs in (ahem ?? )  you can buy plastic ones that will fit in the holes on the MB and insulate that from the tray. but you need to secure the board in some fashion.........
