I predominately play planetside 2, with some bioshock, minecraft, warcraft 3, and BF3 on the side

I currently use a cheap, generick logitech wireless mouse.

Im thinking about the G600 for the three primary buttons, or maybe a G700s or razer deathadder, any one with experience with these mice? ordoes anyone have any other recommendations

Note: i have fairly large hands and i can use a claw or palm grip fine, however i do prefer a larger mouse

I use a G500 and it is amazing quality. It is better suited for larger hands in my opinion. I dont know about the 700 or the razer i think they're on the smaller side. you say logitech g600 but that has the programmable keys, not the three buttons???

Logitech G400s for a simple but very nice mouse. I really dislike all the buttons on mice so the G400 was perfect.

I wouldn't recommend G600 unless  recommend G600 if you can use those side buttons gently. I always accidentally smudge them especially when rushing to press another side button after another. Now it feels quite shaky. You can look up for Naga 2014, though I hate those synapse software. But it still feels ok to me.

I use a Logitech MX Performance and love it. It's wireless so that take from that what you will but I can't notice any lag or anything except when my mouse is sleeping and I move it to wake the screen it's delayed by about a second or two.

CM Storm Sentinel Advance II would be a good option. Its a fairly large mouse with good ergonomics and has a nice button layout.. It is a laser mouse tho, dont know if it HAS to be a optical one for you? More info on www.cmstorm.com :)

The mice under the precision section have perfect sensors, meaning they have no acceleration or prediction. They most likely don't have angle snapping as well.

I use a G400s and it is the most accurate and responsive be mouse I have ever used. I play a lot of BF3 and the mouse improved my gameplay quite a lot. You said you play some FPS so I would recommend getting a mouse from the precision section of that list.

I have a Deathadder 2013 and would recommend it to anyone. By far the most comfortable mouse I've used as of yet. It also looks very nice, very clean and simple, and doesn't look as ridiculous as the Ouroboros or as disgusting as the RAT7.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi, I'm looking for a decent laser mouse to replace my G5, which is pretty worn out, for a price between 60 and 80 €. The only decent option I found so far was the G500s. What else exists in this price range? I want a minimum amount of buttons, maybe forward/back for browsing and a decent scroll wheel.

I have a G500 and its almost perfect, good sensor, good price, good ergonomics, all the buttons you can need, a spinless mouse wheel, a feature which i think its awesome, a weight system, good cable, and large enough for medium - big hands. I would recommend you the G500s cause its a little newer and it changes the surface materials.
