Yes, firstly clean the Master Boot Record (MBR) by using

bootrec /fixmbr

t|hen type

bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force .

 

FYI,The /nt60 parameter applies the master boot code that is compatible with Bootmgr the /all argument updates the master boot code on all partitionsand finally the /force parameter forcibly dismounts the volumes during the boot code update so that the Bootsect.exe tool does not gain exclusive volume access

I fixed it by updating grub! :)

 

Now I just need to fix Ubuntu... :(

Okay I tried to repair Ubuntu the day before and now Windows has a GRUB loader, so I tried to use the Windows repair disc but that disc says its locked now help!!! :(

bootrec.exe /fixmbr

bootrec.exe /fixboot

bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd

 

when you log in windows, it might ask you for your cd key again.

I checked the disc there is no grub there but each time I try to boot it I only get GRUB!!!

That works on Windows 10? Also key is locked to the Mobo anyways right? After I did that at the end it said Does not find requested system unit... (transelated from Norwegian...) & Login is not working still GRUB...

That works on Windows 10? Also key is locked to the Mobo anyways right? After I did that at the end it said Does not find requested system unit... (transelated from Norwegian...) & Login is not working still GRUB...

When using command prompt I always use English (even If my Windows version Is Norwegian).

I am not sure the ubuntu repair disc has that but it showed me all the partitions on every disc and the Windows SSD2 had no GRUB but each time I boot it I only get GRUB from SSD1 which is Ubuntus...

Yes, firstly clean the Master Boot Record (MBR) by using

bootrec /fixmbr

t|hen type

bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force .

 

FYI,The /nt60 parameter applies the master boot code that is compatible with Bootmgr the /all argument updates the master boot code on all partitionsand finally the /force parameter forcibly dismounts the volumes during the boot code update so that the Bootsect.exe tool does not gain exclusive volume access

I fixed it by updating grub! :)

 

Now I just need to fix Ubuntu... :(
