How reputable are they? I mean, are they a real shop and we're getting a real retail product here, or are they more like Kinguin/G2A and we're going to get God knows what?

Yeah, if only those were retail keys and not Dreamspark/Technet and other non-distributable licenses, that would be great...

I looked them up, pretty much all reputable review websites say that they are legit:

http://www.reviews.co.uk/company-reviews/store/software-geeks (user-driven reviews, so could be botted)

ScamAdvisor Thinks it US based (although its a .co.uk Domain)

http://scamanalyze.com/check/softwaregeeks.co.uk.html (Low popularity rating means it could be unsafe?)

http://www.hotsited.com/www.softwaregeeks.co.uk

http://www.nominet.uk/whois/?query=softwaregeeks.co.uk#whois-results (only registered domain for 1 year)

https://sixstat.com/ratings-reviews/softwaregeeks.co.uk Shows Low Daily unique visitors and page views, and low income (due to the lack of advertisements I'm guessing)

I'll add a warning to my post because it does seem fishy, but it does use secure payment methods so If something goes wrong you can claim money back.

Thanks for the heads up, merry xmas.

Dreamspark/tecnet keys are keys generated by a student/developer subscription to MSDN that allows you to generate keys for your own use. If they get registered by other people, then the keys get banned. OEM keys are sold by Microsoft.

And the "sold" licence keys get deactivated. If they sell enough then their MSDN account gets banned.
