Athlon X4 860K is a great option.

It depends, if you have a GPU get an 860k

If you are only using an APU get th A10-7850k

Athlon x4 860 if you have a Graphics Card.

A10-7870K if you want integrated Graphics.

This is your answer. The real difference between an a10 and Athlon x4 860k is that the Athlon doesn't have the integrated graphics enabled (due to defects). So if you have a graphics card, the Athlon is the way to go.
