So I just finished the html course on code academy and a few seconds ago I found out aboot html 5,is code academy teaching html 5 right now?

 

If they aren't can you guys send me some link to where I can learn it

Technically it teaches HTML5, but uses some deprecated tags from HTML 4.01 as well because they feel that you should know them

They are nearly the same thing. HTML is 95% backwards compatible also. No need for a whole new HTML5 course. Learn PHP or JS now.
