New $500 Build

Looking to build a decent gaming PC for $500 USD (+ or - $30). I want to run current games at 1080p 60ish FPS at med-high settings. However, I do want an

intel i5 k CPU over AMD, and i know that'll limit my budget on my GPU and other items. A build with a red/black scheme would be best, no OS and peripherals included in budget.

This is the best i can do with an i5... you may want to rethink your AMD situation. This doesnt have a good case, or an SSD.... well or a good much of anything LOL. I mean its the best i can do dude.

Personally on a cheap build like this, i would go AMD and im not a fan of AMD... both CPU and GPU.

I have a friend who ha the same budget and I suggested to go AMD. He wants the best bang for his buck. The fx 6300 is a great CPU that can run like every game. The downside is the bottleneck that comes with it. I would recommend an i5 4460 or 4590 but it isn't needed for that build. You won't get the most of your 500$. If you go Intel in a budget build, it's basically a starting point, knowing that you will upgrade soon.
