New RAM upgrade

So hopefully this Christmas I will be getting myself some new Ram, G.SKILL Sniper Series 32GB DDR3 2400Mhz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231676&cm_re=ddr3_2400_32gb-_-20-231-676-_-Product ... This will be an upgrade from my old RAM, G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz.... I game, record, and edit. How much of a difference of performance should I expect? Thank You

You shouldn't notice anything in gaming. Maybe editing will be faster?

Probably 0 difference sorry bud. :wacko:

Rendering you can say that 1-2GB per thread is a good rule of thumb so if you have a 6 core or an 8 core then... meh, you could theoretically have made an improvement.

Well I edit/render more then I game sooo... Hopefully this investment will be better. Will this improve an applications launch time?

No, that's mostly the SSD that will make a huge noticeable difference there. If you only have a quad core cpu you might want to go ahead and cancel the order and put the money towards something else. Its your money but I don't think you will see a huge difference and might be left slightly disappointed.
