To all you 750D owners out there! Does anyone know a good way to mod a 750D to have a basement like the NZXT H440 ? I would love to create my own basement so i can hide my powersupply and that ugly HDD cage/slug. If anyone wanna give me pointers or even tips on how to create a basement, itwould be greatly appreciated!   :D

I haven't done it personally, but I've noticed small ledges where it looks like you could put some form of cover.

Yeah I've been thinking about welding something there. Do you know if it is possible to get the ridiculously large window in the side panel to be trimmed down ? I enjoy the 800D very much I don't understand why they would take out that basement compartment.

I don't think it's possible no. You'd have to buy/make a new window.

Do you happen to know any glass shops ? I may have a plan. I might post pics once i get everything together.

No, sorry. Look around on google for where you live, go take in the case panel and explain what you want to do, they might be able to do it :)

You think corsair would gladly provide me with another side panel if i were to tell them my idea ? Ahaha worth giving them a call  ;)

Doubt it. They might give you 10% off or something if you explain nicely. My friend tried asking EVGA for a 980 ti and they sent him a package of pens and the sort.

Hahaha that's pretty funny

I have a guide here for both under Window Mod and PSU Shroud:

For glass check to see if you have any local glass shop that can custom cut you a piece overall it shouldn't be very expensive.

One company you could talk to about this is MNPCTech -- I think they have an account here on LTT, or you can visit their forum TheModZoo.com. They do a lot of stuff with case mods and custom side panels, so you could take your idea to them and see what you can arrange. On the parts, I think the side panels are identical to each other, meaning you can try buying the solid side panel (Corsair part no. CC-8930168) and cutting out a window for it. If you want to have the acrylic custom cut yourself, there are companies online that will laser cut acrylic with a design you send in. You can probably also find someone local to do it for you.

  • 6 years later...

I know this is an OLD thread but this is still a very good case.

I recently upgraded my 128GB X99 beast to a 128GB X299 beast and I wanted some cosmetic upgrades too.

I found this website https://www.coldzero.eu/search?controller=search&s=Corsair+750D

They have LOTS of off the shelf mods for the Corsair 750D case.
