They should work, but your faster RAM will be slowed down to 667 MHz.

Double check if there are maximum memory limitations for your motherboard. I have a Pentium D based system that uses DDR2 and the board limits the maximum memory  to 2 GB. This seems to be common for systems of that era. With systems using DDR3, doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

Another question: if the cpu is overclocked and i insert my 2x1 gb 667MHz ram to the system after the overclocking process? Will everything work fine (add 667 to 1066).

i5-4690k, R9 380 4gb, 8gb-1600MHz ram, corsair vs 550w, astrock h97m anniversary.
