Windows storage server security

Hey guys,

 

do you recommend a security solution for a small buiness server, which never enters the "internet" or not?

Could the security program crush the server, because unfortunately Windows did a 3 months ago, so that we had to reinstall Windows completley.

 

I hope you can help me.

If you never/rarely access the internet, I would just not be dumb, and setup either a RAID 1, or some kind of backup, and do that frequently.
