Yeti vs AT2020 ?

Help me chose, the Yeti is about 25$ less than the AT2020

 

but I'm not sure which one to take.

the yeti for that price difference but for me the at2020 sounds better

I love my at2020, can't speak quite to the yeti as much because I've only had a handful of opportunities to try one out, but from recordings, I prefer the sound from the 2020.

Though, a good mic arm, and pop-filter go a LONG WAY

Any reason behind that? 

The quality is about the same, but the AT2020 is much smaller, lighter, so that translates to easier accessory choices as it's close to a standard sized mic whereas the Blue Yeti is a huge donger.  It's close to 2KG's..

Thats true, but the Blue Yeti comes with a lot of feature and physical controls

 

which of the two picks the least amount of background noise?

If you're using it on a PC, you'll never touch the controls as it will be permanently set at cardioid. Both pick up about the same amount of noise, but they are front facing so unless the noise from the back gets reflected to the front of the mic, it's pretty soft.  Otherwise everything gets heard.

I thought the same since it was a studio mic before it was a USB mic

I actually have both :P Delivery for my friend's Blue Yeti came to me the same order my AT2020 did, so I tested it for a few weeks before passing it to him as I live in a different country but I go back every few weeks.  Both are very similar in terms of their noise cancellation properties, which is to say they don't have much of any xD
