My i7 4790k was running at 73 degrees under full load, now since im using a monitor with a vga port only, i have to enable igpu, but my cpu temperatures are rising when rendering, is this normal because now the temperature is like 78-79 degrees under full load rendering.

The temperatures will naturally rise because the IGP Is working as well.

If you're now using the igpu and you weren't before, then yes.

 

The igpu is literally located in the cpu itself, so running off of it will naturally increase temps.

It has to scale down to a vga output so yes.

What video out were you using before?
