gigabyte krypton mouse acting up?

my gigabyte krypton mouse is acting up i cant move it across the screen. i unplugged it then plugged it back in nothing happen then i unplugged it again and plugged a old mouse in then unplugged that one then plugged my gigabyte one in again and it worked fine is this a mouse problem or pc problem?
