Hey guys, I'm building my first PC build and I need feedback on my build! I also want recommendations on monitors, gaming mice, keyboards and probably a different motherboard with the socket for my core. Also taking some fan suggestions, but without further a do, here is the link to my build........> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Gvjr4D

I am going to make some points with you on certain parts

GTX 980: if you are gaming at 1080p you can still get a 390 ($300), 390x ($370), or GTX 970 ($300) and max out games fine

Windows 8.1: Get Windows 10 instead it's really good I enjoy it

HDD: Get this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezex

SSD: Get this the v300 isn't very good: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e250bam

RAM: You technically don't need 16gb of ram the most a game uses is only 7gb of ram so you can save yourself 40 dollars there if you want

Motherboard: Not sure if you have it or not already but it's not listed on PCPartPicker meaning its not in stock at any stores

Here are some links for good graphics cards you can consider and save yourself 200 dollars from a 980 if you want

970: (the r9 390 is a little better for same price)

390: (better then the 970 for same price and for $70 more you can get a 390x and it's a little better)

390x: (this card is almost as fast as the 980 for 100 dollars less usually)

Wait, when a graphic card has "Ti" in it, that means it's two graphic cards hence the motherboard that can run them in SLI? @GalacticRuler

E: Also with 8gb of RAM would I be able to do stuff as photo editing on the side for games and like video editing of gameplay, etc. Cause I heard those type of stuff requires more than 8gb of ram.

no its just an upgraded version of the 980, or technically a cut down titan x core with only 6gb of ram. But no the ti is a single gpu card

You probably would want more RAM if you are video editing. 16 GB is a good number for that.
