The solution I used is this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2707/?

 

It's a 3mb or so mod and all it does is fix the compass. You need Nexus Mod Manager unless you want to install it manually (which isn't that hard.)

 

The only other solution is downloading old drivers.

I have just downloaded it and didn't work probably just me that is a goof.

You have to install it. Nexus Mod Manager makes it easy, but first you need to install that. Then you download the mod, and activate it in NMM.
