Getting into Audio.

I'm looking at getting into audio, i've built my beginners wishlist on amazon and was wondering if anyone could maybe give me some changes or something that i could make or something that would better suit for the price of the products i am looking at.

The list:

Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro Headphones - Black Limited Edition

FOCUSRITE SCARLETT SOLO Audio interface

Audio-Technica AT2020 XLR

I feel this is a cheaper setup and just wondering if anyone would change anything.

I hope this is the right section in the forum for this, thanks in advanced.

If all you need is a single mic then a blue yeti, blue yeti pro, Rode NT-USB, or http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT2020USB-PLUS-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B00B5ZX9FM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1450450904&sr=8-2&keywords=Audio-Technica+AT2020 would be

fine. If you play guitar or bass or something and think you might want to have an amp mic'd up at the same time then you'll want some kind of mixer or audio interface like you listed. Focusrite makes great stuff with excellent preamps.

What are you gonna use these for? Music Production? Video editing? Just for games and skype?

Yeah, I have the same question/s to OP as well.

AMD VS Nvidia = A lost mail man that will do whatever it takes to give you your mail... despite being a few days late... and never realizing that the house that the mail is for was pretty much the first house he started from VS A well dressed, well groomed, well cleaned, and cologned-up donger that just wiggles itself and is the type of guy that makes after-parties a nightmare. Basically its: An idiot that tries VS a jerk that ruins every after-party. Pick your poison.

I recommend the Studio Projects B1 instead of the AT2020. Less noise and a fuller low end.

And the Mackie Blackjack instead of the Focusrite Solo. As I've been constantly repeating for the past few months, the Blackjack has cleaner preamps (two of them, to boot), better converters, and a hotter headphone out.

Fidelio X2 and blue snowball will suffice for this IMO

Microphone quality is a big thing to me, i'm not a fan of the snowball for its sound quality, Thanks for the suggestion though.

Those headphones look nice, but more expensive than everything i mentioned earlier put together lol.
