750 Ti(860M/960M) is also more than enough - i was wondering if the default got changed from 4 to 8 via update

I dont think the 750Ti and 660Ti are too far apart in terms of performance, or at least I wouldnt think they are.

With Nvidia abandoning Kepler it might be closer than before - it's around 660 levels

Cool i just put in -threads 4 for my Phenom, hopefully next time i play it brings my performance up some more.

So long as it has 4 cores/threads it will do so if it wasn't doing it before.

I though the patch affected my FPS but they added a "Auto" feature for video settings which set everything to high, got 100 FPS. Have everything medium for 200FPS
I think i use like all, but some cores don't get used at all.

Had the same, it set everything to high and 8x msaa.

Completely retarded, I dont need 8xMSAA on 1440p, I want my 144+ fps!

When I changed the settings the game crashed and I had to reboot to fix it.

I found using all my Phenom threads slowed down the game.

 

3 is the sweet spot for quad cores.
