Need help picking out a monitor

I have no idea what monitor to choose and am in need of help to find a good one. I have a $500-600 price range and it needs to have free-sync since i have an amd graphics card.

Also what is better a TN display or and IPS display?

IPS unless you want high refresh rate. TN is usually cheaper but can do 144hz, generally IPS only does 60hz (each hz= 1 fps). IPS is capable of better color reproduction and handles gosting better but there are TN panels that rival good IPS ones, the one I listed is one of them.
