About a year ago there was Linus video about silent gaming pc with be Quiet Base 800. I liked it. So i waited and waited, and finally after 3 month they showed up in Lithuania. So i got one - black one. And gears in my head started to spin with ideas what i could do, but finally i came up with camo skin on case. After a month in design studio (yes, i know, they work slow with outside customers that one something different then simple sticker on a side) and like 10-15 different designs i chose this one.

At this point is close to the middle of the summer so rummers goes around about Skylake coming up at any moment know + that tease from Linus about upcoming Noctua/Linus fan on WAN Show. Since "The Beast" works just fine i resided to wait, i am not in hurry. And after somo more waiting Skylake came and...as always just evolution, not revolution. Since just after release of new product prices are HIGH at least + DDR4 i still waited another month to see were prices will level out. Bare in mind the i already had my be quiet case for like 3-4 month at that moment. So after one crappy day at the office i needed something to bust my mood i finally started to pick parts for my new pc, my "Predator 2.0". After some hours on retailers pages, forums and etc. there was two configurations -  Haswell-E and Skylake and difference in price 30-50 eur. (Haswell-E more expensive). Not to rush everything, i printed out both specs and hang them on the wall at home - to sink in all cons and pros about both configurations. But decision was made - Haswell-E

After that it was easy - just order pats and assemble them by pc shop. I know some of you might criticise my, for not assembling pc by myself, but there is reason for that. More like 2 of them. First is a little back story, from long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..sorry, couldn`t resist temptation :D When i was building Pentium 4HT and i broke some pins from CPU and from that came fear to mess thing up, especially expensive thing, and i simply didn`t want to do that (i am also lazy) . Second one - since i know the guy from retail shop, i am buying parts from him like 5-6 years know, i know that he won`t mess things up (shouldn`t) , i won`t need to mess with drivers, installations and etc. and it cost 10eur. for me. So i chose easy rout.

Two days later "Predator 2.0" was in my possession.

After some benchmarks something bothers my, i do not know that but there is something. Finally it came to my - memory was in dual channel not quad. So i popped open case and there it is - 2 stick of RAM in wrong position. changed than and everything is ok. For the moment :) There is still that idea about Linus Noctua fans that i want i my case. So again waiting start.

I know you are here - you want to see specs :D

About month ago on wan show the was announcement, that they will be showing up soon. Since in Lithuania retailers don`t even sell Noctua products there was no hope to find them in Lithuania so google is your best friend here. So i found a UK retailer that will sell them, and you can pre-order them. At least that what was idea. But if you are foreigner, or don`t have anyone living in UK, you can`t pre-order.

Then i found German retailer and there i pro-order fans. After 3 delays they finally here and it`s time to update pc :)

They are finally here :)

Thanks

It is good case, with a lot of space.

Next thing i am going to do is remove last drive cage and put hdd in 5,25 bay, even more to free air flow

I remember in some WAN Show Linus said "i don`t think people will do builds with these fans, i think, they just buy one" and in my mind is was  "yea....right :D "
