Best digital picture frame?

I've been looking at digital pictures frames for my fiance for Christmas. Any suggestions?

those are overrated af.. (shit screen, relatively high price)

get alot of normal ones, way better.. 

What about a cheapo tablet then or something? Would that work better? She wants something that can automatically switch through pictures and she doesnt have a ton of area to put it.. So A bunch of real ones wouldnt work for her.. Although I agree with your statement. Thus the reason I dont have one myself :P

cheapo tablet is good, because it can also be used for other things later down the road :D

not really, that would have problems like turning off after some time, updates, etc...

Raspberry pi with some sort of external screen perhaps?
