Popular Non-YouTube Video Sites?

EposVox

Hi all,

So I'm looking for popular video sites for VOD video (not live streamed content), that aren't YouTube.

So far I have:

  • Vimeo
  • Fliiby
  • Blip
  • Dailymotion
  • Social media (Vine, IG, Twitter, FB)
  • Live Leak (not really what I'm looking for)
  • Vessel (hard to actually be an uploader for)

Are there any others that you all watch, or know people regularly watch videos on? Even for non-English markets?

The only 2 I use are YT and Vessel

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

What is the content you plan to upload?

Tech reviews, tutorials.

Basically YouTube videos, just wanna hit some syndication on other sites if any worth it.

Put in an application to Vessel, but most likely won't get accepted yet. Maybe by the end of 2016.

If you plan to monetize, I'd say stick to YouTube.

Here is the explanation from one of the YouTubers I watch.

Otherwise, ehh... do what you want. If you really want to do it, by all means if you find it worth the effort.

You could always make a joke like some people do, and upload them to porn websites as well.

Eh, nickel-and-diming monetization isn't important. It's more about reach, exposure, accessibility, etc.

Please do not upload to Vimeo any tech review or in boxing videos. It's not the kind of stuff people want to see there.

Didn't say I was, just gathering data. I know Vimeo is a very different place :)
