R9 380 is 15% faster than a 960 and costs less
Get an XFX 550W - CX are bad for hot gaming rigs (960 still qualifies as hot as it's TDP is 10x higher than that of a office PC for which the CX are intended)

Hi guys, a friend of mine asked me if I could rig him up with a new computer, he has a REALLY old one that I'm surprised it even powers on anymore.

I'm a little tech savy, but I've never built any PC before, so I would like to get some advice from you guys on the parts, any assembly tricks and any problem that appears in the meantime.

So far I've been thinking about these components, please tell me if I've got something wrong or if there are better components for the price, I live in Portugal and I'd like to buy all my parts from this store https://www.pcdiga.com .

I would just mark this as the answer, that's pretty much all you need to know!
