I have my 2500k @ 4.8GHz and my two 770s folding. The 770s both say they should be getting around 75,000 PPD. Yesterday I let them fold for 13 hours and I earned a total of 74,000 points from my CPU and two GPUs. Is this right? Should't I be getting at least 150,000 PPD?

Actually i just started yesterday and have 1WU.

Im planning on using it when im web browsing all day long.

there you go. You get the base credit for the first few (and when you don't have a passkey) and you get the Estimated Credit later (after i think 10 or 20WUs) with a passkey.

You did the math yourself. You folded for 13 hours. About half a day, so you got 74000 points. Fold for another 11 hours and you would be close to your goal of 150k.

Both of my GTX 770 give me 120k ppd on core 18 workunits so I think one of ur 770 is not folding u should get GPU-Z and see whats going on

Does the F@H Client calculate how many points per day you get using the time I leave it on? I let my computer fold for 5 days a week and about 8-12 hours a day and it stays at the 75,000 PPD, however after not folding after the weekend the PPD drops until I start folding that following Monday. I assumed this meant that it calculates how many points per day you get based on how long you fold, not just if you fold for exactly 24 hours this is your PPD.

With a passkey there is such a thing as QRB, quick return bonus. The faster you return a wu the more points

you will receive for said wu. Folding for alittle bit then stopping. Starting again 6 hours later means that wu

will give you less points. The ppd estimate just assumes things are going to progress exactly as they are now

for 24 hours. So it isn't even accurate when you finish wu's in less than 24 hours. Thus the lower ppd estimate

when resuming a wu after a extended break.

Your actual points per day depends on what time of the day the wu's are uploaded and the server updates.

Okay, so the PPD I am getting is correct for when I fold and for how long?

That is difficult to say, not only does ppd vary with different wu's. But you also say that you don't fold

for full days. QRB makes this a messy equation.

It depends how many wu's you finish before stopping, when you pause, for how long, what wu and

so forth.. but in theory. If you have 150k ppd, you fold for 13 hours which is 54.16% of a day. so

150*0.5416 = 81.2k So yeah, that is probably as close as you can practically get. But again, this

isn't really how it works.

You would also probably be seeing abit higher ppd with those cards if you didn't take any breaks

and everything was working properly. Depending on the wu ofcourse.
