I have trouble finding the perfect CPU for my Skylake build(gaming only).

While i intend to play some graphic intense games like RPGs or GTA, most of what i'm going to play is more CPU heavy, like Europa Universalis 4, Kerbal Space Program, city building games, etc.

That is why i want to spend a bit more on a CPU then your average r9 390 gamer.

I don't want to overclock and my budget is whatever a reasonable match will cost.

Right now i'm looking at an i5-6600.

Any thoughts?

Yeah Sure.

 

i5 6600 is good for that GPU and for gaming, yes!
