Hi guys, my friends brother gave me two Radeon HD 4870. My question is how do I know its on crossfire configuration? Ive searched for a bit and some people says you can see it in GPU-Z

it says the crossfire is disabled, how do I enable the crossfire? and did I put the crossfire bridge in the right side? because I'm not sure if I should put it on the right or the left connector. And how do I know if both of the graphics card are still working?

Go into your Catalyst Control Center and enable Crossfire there :)

Hmm, in GPU-Z, if you click on the "ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series" box, do you get a selection menu for 2 different cards?

No, just one. but both of the fans for both of the cards are spinning.

In that case can you you make sure that both cards are seated in their slots correctly and that the PCI-E power connectors are plugged in all the way? It sounds like one of the cards is not being detected at all. It has some source of power but maybe it's not plugged in fully?

Other than that go into your BIOS and look for any options related to enabling or disabling PCI-E slots and if you find any, make sure all are enabled.

theyre all properly connected so does the power. Ill try doing the bios option, but btw, i tried switching the cards and when I did, there were no display, it seems like the problem is in the card itself, but im not sure.

Well try running each card separately/alone in your first X16 slot. If one of the cards doesn't work on it's own then it's dead...
