how powerful is it more powerful than my build list

Well the CPU has twice the threads, the GPU is in the 1440p gaming tier, and it includes a 480gb SSD vs a 120gb SSD

Also sound cards haven't been necessary for a long time

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
