Tips and Tricks Upgrading to an SSD

CharlieR1

Hey everyone!

Right now I have a 2TB Seagate Barracuda and just purchased a 480GB Sandisk Ultra II. I am looking to do your average thing, i.e. keep windows and some steam games on the SSD.

I hear people telling me to put windows on the new drive with my installation CD/ flash drive, but I got this HDD from a pre-built. I haven't had any success with that keyfinder program either.

You guys have any ways of doing it without my key and no sata-to-usb?

Thanks so much!
