MOBO- MSI z97m-g43

CPU- Intel i5 4460

GPU- Gigabyte r9 390

PSU- Corsair RM650

OS- Windows 8.1 64

I  just built this pc for gaming, but when I try to turn it on after leaving it of for like 1hr or more it doesn't display the first time. All the fans and the GPU light is on when I press the power but it doesn't display. I sometimes had to turn on and off a couple times for it to work, and other I would have to lie down the case. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Is your monitor plugged into the GPU?

Also, follow your topics.

Take everything apart and build it outside the case. If problem persists, it's probably the parts. If not, it was your installation and you can put everything back in the case.

Well, do you know if they're compatible with each other?
