If you want to overclock get a K processor like the i5 6600K, the i5 6600 doesn't overclock.

Don't get the V300 get a BX100, the v300 is bad it had its controller replaced with a slow one.

The 970 gets beaten by the r9 390 in high resolutions so you may want to consider it.

This is my first PC build so there is somethings i am not sure about, so i will explain them as good as i can. HERE WE GO!

-what is TDP?

Thermal power design, or how much heat a component gives off

-What is the correct order when assembling the PC?

There really isn't one, but watch Linus' build guides to get an idea

-How do i overclock my CPU and my GPU? And is it necessary?

You overclock by increasing the multiplier and voltage in the BIOS for the CPU and use programs like MSI afterburner for GPUs. Overclocking is not necessary

-I5 or I7?

For gaming, i5. Most games use less than 4 threads, so the eight threads on i7s are not utilized.

-Is an anti-static wristband needed?

No, just periodically ground yourself by touching the PSU and avoid building on shag carpet. (Firm carpet is better as there is less of the chance you will generate static electricity)

1. TDP is how much heat energy (NOT power consumption) that a processor or component will emit at full load. High-end cards will be between 150-300W.

2. Assembling a PC should be in the following order -

- Open case, insert power supply, wire the cables through the case.

- Insert I/O shield (included with the motherboard) into the cutout in the case. Insert the motherboard,

- Hold the motherboard in place by a VRM or chipset heatsink and screw in one of the screws as a pilot, then screw in the rest. IMPORTANT make sure there are motherboard standoffs beforehand.

-Insert the CPU into the socket, pull down the retention bracket.

- RAM

- Cooler

- Sata Cables

- Graphics card

- Hard drives

- Fans

Then you're pretty much good to go
