Hi, I'm almost done setting up my computer but once I started connecting my case cables to my motherboard, I found that my power led does not light up upon starting up my computer.  Does anyone have any idea why that may be the case and how to diagnose what component (case cable, motherboard, PSU) is causing the problem?

I have attempted replugging the power lead to the motherboard, rearranging the case power led cables (with letters facing up and letters facing down, also switching positive (+) to negative (-)), but the LED light still doesn't light up.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The easiest diagnosis would be measuring the cables with a multimeter aswell as testing the plugs - see if there's power on it.

Try to borrow a multimeter if you havent got one, its really the easiest way to test it.

who cares...

I would use a multimetre to test whether or not there's power coming through the pins when the PC is turned on. You can't use a multimetre to test whether or not the LED is broken by using continuity mode however, because below the LED's strike voltage it will not conduct any electricity in either direction.
