what drivers are you running? try doing a clean install of latest whql drivers

I just played my first game of Battlefield on my new PC, and the textures were all messed up. Whenever I would get a ribbon, it would just be a brown pixelated box. Same thing if I would be killed but it was purple instead of brown. When I was playing, there was black and white going everywhere. It was really unplayable. How can I fix this?

Does it happen with all other games? Or just BF3? If it's just BF3 try reinstalling it.

bf3 has some issues with drivers. not the actual game.

 

BF3 has no fault here. as far as i can tell. i had this problem at the first time i played BF3. did a clean install of latest stable drivers and problem is gone.

What do you mean by clean install? Just download them and go through setup again?

BF3 is the first game I downloaded so I don't know if it will happen in other games.

download latest whql drivers which i believe is 320.49 and when installing choose custom install. there should be an option to do a clean install.

Should I be downloading from the Nvidia website? I was using the latest drivers from the Asus website which were 320.08.
