$1000 gaming build....looking for some advice

So I am working on my first build and am kinda newby but still have relatively good knowledge on the topic. I have been working the past few weeks on coming up with the parts for my soon-to-be gaming pc. I have finally finished coming up with a parts list and would like some advice/feedback. I think I have planned everything out well and that this will be a good build, but nevertheless I would really appreciate any advice you can give.

The only thing I know for sure of being a bit of a waste is the motherboard being a Z170 when I did not buy an overclockable CPU. I read several reviews and saw mixed reviews for most H170 motherboards so I figured I would spend a couple extra bucks to get a solid motherboard. Let me know what you guys think or if you know of any reliable H series boards. Thanks

Also I know many people suggest AMD GPUs but I prefer Nvidia and will be getting one of their cards.

Case: Fractal Design Define S

Motherboard: MSI Gaming Z170A Gaming M3

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.2 GHz

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2666

Storage: WD Blue 1TB

              Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD

Power Supply: EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 750W

---Grand total price of $992.92 with current Amazon/Newegg prices---

Thanks again!

AMD cards give you more performance per dollar at every price point but 980 ti/Fury X territory, plus they potentially have better DX12/Vulkan support, and free-sync is cheaper than G-sync

What country is that? You could be doing a lot better for a thousand if that's US

A 390X can match a GTX 980, kind of a step up from the GTX 960 you picked :P

I would get a 1080p 27 inch dual monitors, but you need to find space to put them xD.

Sorry i couldn't source any deals from amazon for monitors, but i would generally recommend a BenQ monitor for 144hz usage.
