Build for fun

Tadashi

I don't actually intend to build a PC currently, but I felt like trying to make a good PC and have some feedback on it.

Here are the parts:

GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-GAMING 3
Intel Core i7-6700K

Noctua NH-U12P SE2

2x Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz
Asus STRIX NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

EVGA 600B Bronze 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply

Cooler Master CM 690 III Window Side USB 3.0

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

Is this build good as is or could it have some improvements(within comparable price range)?

The build it alright, if it's for gaming a 6700k isn't needed.

Added the PCPartpicker link.

As for the 6700k, I can't find the 6600k here so I went with the 6700k.

You could get a build with effectively the same performance for a good amount less

also I'd say the AMD cards up until the 980ti are the way to go, free-sync saves money vs G-sync, and you potentially have better DX12/Vulkan Support
