My graphics card in my laptop (MSI gt70 0ND) is broken and unfixable (Crashes with BSOD TDR Failure nvlddmkm.sys) but that's not the problem.

I have inactivated the graphics card and now using Intel HD graphics 4000 however it has got worse.

The broken graphics card is now crashing even when its inactivated causing the fan speed to go to 100% at idle 10 seconds after boot.

Is there a way i can make the embedded controller to ignore the graphics card? Or just fix the fan problem some other way?

Usually the graphics card's driver would control the fan speed, but because the graphics card is obviously dead the driver isn't working anymore and the fan will just spin at full speed.
I don't think there is anything you can do other than removing the fan or the graphics card entirely.

But don't quote me on that. I might be totally wrong and get spamed in a few seconds with messages of how stupid I am.
