POLL: Gnome or KDE? (openSUSE)

Hey all, it's time for me to scrap my VM and start a new 'nix build, and I'm gunna explore OpenSUSE.

 

Which desktop environment do you prefer - GNOME or KDE?

gnome has a lot of features that do really well on limited screen space

KDE I feel tries to emulate apple too much, focusing on aesthetics and flash rather than just being a good, down-to-earth desktop manager.

It's 5-1 and similar feedback on Twitter.
So I'm rolling with KDE on the initial install since I haven't used it much, but full-on planning to switch fast.

I personally have preferred Gnome over most DE simply because of how keyboard oriented it is.

This, i am a true keyboard warrior with Gnome.

I used Gnome when I used OpenSUSE and I enjoyed the experience.

 

I get the impression the KDE has better devs behind it, though. One reason for this is the the Gnome devs are having some trouble getting the refresh rate settings to work, unlike KDE.
