[Q] Recommendations for a new Android device

Hi everyone,

 

I will be upgrading from my first gen Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) and have considered the following:

 

-Motorola Moto X Style

-OnePlus 2

-Nexus 6

 

What are your thoughts on these devices? and any other suggestions. I'm not bothered about having the absolute bleeding-edge mobile tech if the price is stratospheric.

 

Edit: I normally upgrade my mobile device every three years.

You should also consider the nexus 6P.

If the Moto X is anything like the 2015 Moto E, then its a great device(recently got the E, love it). The Nexus 6 is a great device too, but you have to like the size. Not many people like dealing with large devices. I've heard good things about the OnePlus 2, but I am a bit salty about some of OnePlus's business practices(stupid marketing, poor customer care, list sadly goes on).

You should also consider the nexus 6P.

 

I would love the 6P, but price is a factor. The nexus 6 appears to be a real bargain compared to the 6P. At least depreciation can serve a positive purpose somewhat!  :D

I own a OnePlus

 

I'm a massive nexus fan.

 

I'd buy the Moto X Style out of that list.

 the n6 is still a great device. lots of nice custom ROMs and support at xda. plus google will keep pushing their recent updates to it 

the 6p is better than the n6 in almost every way, but neither device won't let you down
