GPU to tall

Im working on building a mini itx build for my girlfriend in a specific case she wants but have just run into a problem when test fitting the GPU. Its to tall with the power connectors in to put the side panel back on. Pretty much im just wondering if any of you know some way i can make this current configuration work or if you guys have any recommendations on either a shorter height GPU or a shorter length one that has the power connectors coming out the side of the card. Any input would help wonders.

Well, you have a few options:

- Cut a hole in the side panel to make room

- Squish the cables in, somehow

- Buy a new GPU/case

He could buy a PCIe riser cable, tape the card to the front of the case and route the video cables through some hole in the case...

Also this. Going full ghetto here :P

Is the thing light enough to use tape? Maybe 3M velcro on the backplate or something...

EDIT: No backplate.
