This is meant to be a pc for gaming and quite a bit of rendering and editing

Asus H81M2

ThermalTake 530W Smart

Gigabyte Nvidia 970 Windforce 4GB

1x8GB Crucial Ballistix 1600

2x be quiet! Shadow Wings SW1 

 

Any way to save some money , is this rig any good and also could upgrade for a slightly higher price (bare in mind Im in the UK) THANKS!

 

Also alredy got HDD and optical drive and also I dont want an ssd

Go for a Xeon for rendering and editting. Also take a R9 390/390X over the 970 due to the 8GB of VRAM. For your RAM, go dual channel (2x4GB)

You're gonna regret that in the future especially since you are doing things like rendering and editing, also I forgot to mention you should get get 16GB of ram for your rendering and editing needs.

You can get the 240gb for 65 bucks and have the ability to put more than 1 or 2 games on it. (comparing to the 120)
