Hey guys, I just want a feedback, I just bought this monitor today and I'm using it.

Although I'm feeling somethings not right when playing CS:GO. When I switch to other direction, I feel like there's a 'lag'

Also, I cant adjust the Hue/Saturation option from the menu, its greyed out.

*Currently using VGA because the package itself doesnt have a DVI connector cable.

Is it somehow good for gaming?

Is it because i'm using VGA?

Yes VGA is very limited in what it can output for HZ

I see, so it does affect the speed of the monitor right?

It will sadly, it is a much older than newer standards today. So its is quite dated in terms of what it can output.

Wait, I just noticed you said its a low end monitor. So does that mean, even if i change my VGA port to DVI it will not change the 'lag'?

*Update, my monitor is DVI-D but my graphics card is DVI-I

  • 4 weeks later...

I just got this monitor last month, and I got a lot of problems when it comes to CS:GO.

(Will be used mostly in CS:GO and Would love to use 1024x800 Blackbars.)

If I were to trade or swap this monitor to another one, what would you guys recommend?

(I would love to get 1600x900-1920x1020)

*Also please suggest near the price of this monitor. Thanks!

-snip-

Well if your still having trouble with that monitor. Try to find one that has a IPS or TN panel, because VA is slow and has ghosting. Also screen tearing occurs from your GPU running at either too high of a frame rate or two low of a frame rate compared to your monitors refresh rate. So if you set a frame cap at 60 you shouldn't experience screen tearing.

I think playing on 60fps on csgo is too.. uhh idk lol. also i think this monitor has ghosting :( + playing on 1024x768 in this monitor is too blury.

so you think any IPS or TN ( What does this mean? ) will do?
