This is possibly going to be my first build:

AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor

Gigabyte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI Mini ITX FM2+ Motherboard

Kingston 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB Superclocked Video Card

Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case

EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

Edit: I went with a 960 with 4gb of buffer, a thermaltake core v1 in which the psu doesn't hang over the cpu, and a NZXT 550W 80+ Bronze Full Modular PSU. I want this to work as an at home station and a LAN machine.
