Alright, so my computer boots(I know that for sure cause I can see it on the motherboard debug screen) but my monitor is blank. I have tried using two cables for my Gpu, none worked. When I tried using an older Gpu, it worked. The onboard graphics also work. So what could the problem be?

If you have tried a new gpu and it works, and not done something stupid like forgetting to plug in the power (Although you would get an angry message upon start up telling you off if you did.) I think its probably died on you.

Although I would try updating your drivers (I know this is not likely to help if at all, but EVGA recently told me Win 10 has fucked up alot of people's drivers to make it look like their card's have become malfunctioning, and updating drivers could fix the issue......)

Please just friggin help me already. BTW the Gpu was recognised by the mono the last time I managed to boot everything up

Since this is the third time you had to ask this, we most likely don't know.

Just RMA the card and see what they can make of it.

oh wait... I get it now. I looked up on MSI's website, which lists the HD 7850 as compatible. The old card which worked with the new motherboard is an r9 270. It isn't listed as compatible. My 970 isn't listed as compatible. So why did the 270 work but the 970 didn't? Because the 270 is just a fucking garbage rebadge, while Nvidia actually innovates with every generation
