Anyone disappointed with the current offering of fan controllers? The relatively recent release of the NZXT Grid+ V2 is cool with its individual fan control (really wish it was on the V1, though -.-), BUT IT STILL USES DC RATHER THAN PWM. This isn't an issue for most people, but I'm wanting to change my fan setups to Noctuas, so I don't want to DC control them. Sure, I could plug them all into my motherboard, but I love the fine control that a fan controller affords me (plus I wouldn't have to go into the BIOS to change my fan profile).

There is the Corsair Link Commander Mini, but it's a surprisingly untouched product, and I've heard many bad things about the Corsair Link software. Saying that, it does have PWM control, so it might be worth considering for me.

Anyway, what do you guys think? What fan controlling solution are you using (if any)?

I am using a Nzxt grid+ v1 with Corsair AF and SP fans. It works great, but a version with pwm would be great.

If NZXT make a Grid+ with individual PWM fan control, I will be all over that like flies on horse shit.

Some of the most recent bios are pretty nice for controlling fans. Also PWM can mess with led strips and certain fans so DC is more universal. I wish corsair would make a corsair link internal fan controller that could be controlled through corsair link.

The commander Mini is really the only PWM, software based fan controller out there as of right now, there is the Aquacomputer aquaero but is much more expensive than most. I personally just use my motherboard's fan control system which has worked well for me.
