Specs: i5 4690k, z97 g55 msi mobo, 8 gigs of ripjaws gddr3, Nitro 390 gpu. sea-gate 1TB barracuda and a cx600m. I recently upgraded from my 270x to a 390. And have noticed a huge boost in performance in games like battlefront. But I always had this horrible stuttering in all arma games. If I zoom in on an area i haven't been looking at for long or turn to fast my game stutters. I have tried almost every setting in arma. Even with this new gpu I have this stuttering. I know the game has really bad performance issues. But surely the stuttering isn't normal. It must be a different component or a setting ive missed that is causing this stuttering. Thanks for the help!  :)

Right now the lowest settings to try and fix it but it hasn't stopped the stuttering.

I believe he was referring to what resolution.  :)

Thanks!

I get better overall fps on the new card but I still have the same amount of stuttering and no crossfire.

Well, I am not sure what to tell you. If I had the game I would have been more helpful.

That's the launch option that's "supposed" to stop the stuttering.

Dose it work?

max frames ahead.......is that the same as pre-rendered frames?

i  would still go into the CCC and set the 3d refresh override to the refresh rate of the monitor.  i tried a 380 and some games would do weird stuff because too many frames were being rendered on a low refresh rate monitor. ( 60Hz in my circumstance )
