Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get my brother a wireless headset for Christmas that will work with both his PC and his PS4. This is proving to be a bigger challenge than I anticipated.

Anyone have any solutions they know will work, or am I best to just buy a wired version?

818 Plantronics Gamecom works well for me, got it on sale for 30 dollars during black friday.  The only issue I had with it is that the front PS4 usb ports are recessed and the dongle for the wireless connection is too large to fit normally.  I had a Female to Male usb cable however and it works just fine using that to connect to the PS4.  Haven't had any issues with it on either PC or PS4 and it comes with 10hr use on a 4 hr charge.

Well with the PS4 you can plug your wired headset into the controller - so that seems a much better option than the often rubbish wireless sets

I assumed OP had a headset already just one that doesn't plug into the ps4 or one that has a cord that OP doesn't want anyone tripping over

well he said he wants to buy one for his brother so no idea if he has one already :P, and you wont trip over a cord connected to your controller :D

Yeah what I meant was that if he had a wired one with usb....He would plug it into the ps4 (usb ports) and someone could trip over the wired one and send his ps4 crashing down but we don't know...So we will assume he doesn't
