Stress testing a CPU, but nothing...Mystery problem

Evyatar

Hi guys!

So some guy contacted me, and he's got a problem.

From time to time, the Pc just crushing for no reason... And after it's crushing, it's not showing picture, but loading.

I've tried to change the PSU, tired to change the ram, the Hdd, and the Cpu.

Nothing showed any problem.

He said it's coming and going every few months, but since he's using it for his work, so every time it's crushing, it's just stoping him from working for a few hours.

Last time I came to his help, the pc just loaded with no problem.

Now, I've tried to stress testing the cpu, but it's "warming" level won't go up. - idle at 40c and stress at 38c - at full load.

Seems like the problem is from the motherboard, but I just can't find it.

The pc is second handed but with warranty, but i got to find the problem... If i'll contact the warranty guy without any proof, he won't help.

The pc's name is Hp compaq microtower dx7400

Any idea what to do?

Thank you! :)

Usually if its pre-built crap and you can't really determine the problem, you should really just throw it in the shitbin contact the manufacturer if there's still warranty on it.

And yet, I can't contact the manufacturer. Any way to to a check to the mother board?
