Question about moving router

So some idiot decided to place my grandmas router between the ceiling. I called their ISP one day and asked if someone can move it and they said it would be $40. I was outraged by this price and asked them If I can move it myself, they said no. Is it possible to move the router though? There is a cable hookup in another room?

If it's a Coax cable to it it's most likely a modem/router unit so as long as you can move the cables with it yes you ca move it to anywhere you like.
