computer got destroyed by a virus and from what i found its impossible to fix.

Well I got rid of all the viruses but I got some nasty virus that destroyed many of my files making them unreadable and googling it says you're fucked. or you can pay the assholes who did this to you and they might fix it for you which i'll never do.

 

it destroyed every picture on my computer to which is great.

it also left like 60000 of those recover files in there. txt/html in like every folder on my pc.

Try safe mode and see if that does anything.

i think they encrypted all your files.

if this is the case and you have some money to burn, rent a supercomputer to crack the encryption.

 

Note: this is expensive af, probobly more expensive than paying the malware makers

I like that font they used. Never going to click a link after someone says they got destroyed by a virus. Did you get he virus from torrenting anime?

You really only have the two options, crack the encryption or pay the hackers. Both will be expensive, and aren't even guaranteed to work.

i dont know what hes using, but where i work, they use symantec endpoint protection. does not protect against this kind of viruses. we end up having to disable network transfers, and perform a reformat for all affected computers. not fun.
