Hey guys,

I currently have a i7 5820k, an MSI x99A Raider, and a GSkill Ripjaws V 3200 (Quad Channel). I'm trying to get the most of my PC, I've tried the 1.275v on the core and it reaches 4.5 ghz wich I'm pretty happy with it, but the problem comes when I try to get the ram to 3200Mhz. Activating XMP or fixing the Ram speed to 3200 causes inestability or the pc don't boot. I've been looking for some videos as the Linus 5820k overclocking guide but I don't know what try now.

Could you please help me?

Thank you! :)

You need to run a 1.25 base to get that kind of speed most likely.

Be sure to adjust your multiplier accordingly as it will be 45 x 1.25 instead of 45 x 1.00

Sometimes the XMP profile not working is caused by an old version of the BIOS, try updating it, worked for me after :D

I understand what XMP multiplier does but I don't know where I need to change the multiplier or to which number. I attach some screenshots of my bios, this is how is currently running without XMP and the core at 4.5. On XMP says 1.35v.
