I just started folding. I already set my team to our folding team. I am folding on my i5 3570k @ 4ghz and gtx 770. Should i set my cpu to run on 4 cores or keep it the same also Is there any problems or things to look out for?

Configure it to run on all 4 cores and set up your flags for maximum PPD.

If it's not doing it you may as well, and you just set it up as you would with any other PC and use the same passkey.

Since i got my desktop i have not used it for much so i thought that would work For setup i meant the max ppd. I want to fold while idleing though so i can still use my pc for gameing without performance loss so how could i set it to fold at max during idle times

You can set the CPU:3 and that will leave a free core - typically good for gaming. Also, set the slider at Medium. Then your GPU will only fold when "idle". In order to go Idle, set your screensaver to a low number, like 5 minutes. Also, remember to disable the power saving.

What I normal do - run at "Full" then flip it to "Medium" when gaming, that way I maximize PPD.
